1. When these terms apply

These Terms of Use apply when you use www.calnanai.com (the “site”). When you send our contact form or book a call, we ask you to confirm that you accept them. Our Privacy Policy (calnanai.com/privacy) is a separate notice that explains how we handle personal information.

2. Who we are

The site is operated by Calnan AI Labs (“we”, “us”), a division of Three Comma Enterprise Corp., 409 5th Street S., Lethbridge, Alberta T1J 2B6, Canada. Contact: matt@calnanai.com.

3. General information, not professional advice

The site describes how we help owner-led businesses redesign and automate their workflows. It is general information only. Although our founder is a Chartered Professional Accountant, nothing on the site is accounting, tax, legal, financial or investment advice, and using the site does not create an accountant-client or any other professional relationship. Get advice for your own situation before acting on anything you read here.

4. Prices, examples and the cost calculator

• Prices and ranges on the site are indicative. They are not offers or quotes.
• Cost figures, payback periods and calculator results are illustrative examples based on the numbers entered and the assumptions shown. They are not a measure of results we have achieved, and your actual costs, savings and payback will differ.
• We do not guarantee any business result, saving or payback period.

5. How a fixed price is set

A price becomes fixed only when you accept our written proposal in writing. The proposal sets the scope, exclusions, what “done” means and the fixed price. Nothing is billed until then.

• Changes: work outside the accepted scope is quoted in writing and starts only after you accept that quote.
• Care plans: ongoing support is a separate monthly plan, agreed in writing.
• Outside costs: software subscriptions, licences, hosting and usage fees for tools in your business are paid by you directly, unless the proposal says otherwise.

If your accepted proposal, or an agreement it refers to, conflicts with these terms, the proposal or agreement governs.

6. Using the site

You agree not to:

• use the site in a way that breaks the law or anyone’s rights;
• try to break into, overload or disrupt the site or the systems behind it;
• send malware, spam or content you don’t have the right to share;
• copy the site in bulk to build a competing product or dataset, other than the indexing allowed in section 7; or
• pretend to be someone else when you contact us.

7. Our content, and quoting it

The text, design, graphics, logo and code on the site belong to Three Comma Enterprise Corp. or its licensors. “Calnan AI Labs” and our logo are our brand.

You may view and share pages for your own business use. You may quote short passages with attribution to Calnan AI Labs and a link to www.calnanai.com. Search engines and AI answer services may index, summarize and link to the site, provided they attribute it to us and do not present our content as their own. Anything beyond that needs our written permission.

8. What you send us

When you use our contact form, book a call or email us, please make sure the information is accurate and yours to share. Don’t send passwords, API keys, payment card numbers or sensitive personal information through the site or by email. If we need access to your systems, we’ll arrange it securely. Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle what you send.

9. Third-party sites and tools

The site links to and embeds services run by others, such as Calendly for booking, Google Fonts, and our LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram and TikTok pages. Their own terms and privacy policies apply, and we aren’t responsible for their content or availability.

10. Disclaimer

We work to keep the site accurate and available, but it is provided “as is” and “as available”. To the extent the law allows, we make no warranties about the site, including that it will be error-free, uninterrupted or fit for a particular purpose. This does not limit any warranty in an accepted proposal or project agreement.

11. Limitation of liability

To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential loss, or for lost profits, revenue or data, arising from your use of the site or reliance on its content. Our total liability for any claim about your use of the site is limited to CAD $100. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, and these limits do not apply to work under an accepted proposal, which has its own terms.

12. Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Alberta and the federal laws of Canada that apply there. We prefer to resolve disputes about the site in the courts of Alberta, unless the law gives you the right to bring a claim elsewhere. Nothing in these terms limits your right to complain to a privacy regulator or to rely on laws that protect you where you live.

13. Changes and general terms

• We may update these terms by posting a new version on this page with a new date. Changes apply from that date and do not change a proposal you have already accepted.
• We may change, suspend or withdraw any part of the site at any time.
• If any part of these terms can’t be enforced, the rest still applies.
• Not enforcing a term right away doesn’t mean we’ve given it up.
